Michael Buss, ALA is a licensed architect with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign.  He has a diversified construction background that includes carpentry, roofing and the family concrete business. All of these experiences have provided Michael with a unique insight into the construction industry.  While attending the University of Illinois, Michael had the honor of studying with artist Billy Morrow Jackson, renowned architect Botond Bognar, and Dr. Michael Kim, whom he credits with inspiring the builder within him. Michael is also a member of the Association of Licensed Architects.
 
Michael established the firm, Michael Buss Architects, Ltd., in 1988 and it has continued to grow, and provide custom residential homes, additions and renovations, multifamily, office, tilt-up and commercial designs.
  
Through the conveniences of phone, fax and email, the firm has designed homes, office and commercial projects for clients relocating to the Chicago area or surrounding communities. In addition, the company has designed for past clients relocating to other parts of the country.
